Policies

Payment Policy:
Payment must be received in advance of classes. Group classes must be paid in full prior to the start of class. Private lessons may be paid in full each semester or scheduled monthly. Tuition statements will be issued approximately one week before the beginning of a session. Payment is accepted via PayPal (pay to irish.music@comcast.net) or check. Checks are payable to The Center for Irish Music and mailed to PO Box 7034 St Paul, MN 55107.

Attendance Policy:
All tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. No refunds are made for missed lessons.

Group Classes: Students are expected to attend all group classes. No group classes will be repeated due to the absence of individual students.

Private Lessons: Students and the instructors agree to the number and length of private lessons per trimester. Private lesson teachers have reserved time for each student. Regular attendance at lessons is very important for the student's progress. If a lesson must be skipped for medical or other reasons, a 24-hour notice is required or it will count as a missed lesson. Call or email the Center for Irish Music 651-493-2022 or irish.music@comcast.net to give your 24-hour notice. Rescheduling differs for each private lesson and is determined by The Center for Irish Music.

Family Discount Policy:
When you register one family member for classes at full tuition, each additional member of your immediate family will receive a 10% discount for any CIM class for the same semester. To get this discount, you must register by Tuesday, September 4, 2007.

Withdrawal Policy:
Group classes: A 100% refund will be given for Group Classes or Ensembles if written notice is received via email or post within two business days after the first class.

Private lessons: Notice of withdrawal and requests for refunds must be made to the Center via email or post within two weeks. Verbal notices or requests will not be accepted. Refunds, if applicable, are based on the number of lessons scheduled or taken. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

Cancellation Policy:
The Center reserves the right to cancel classes or ensemble with insufficient enrollment. Classes or ensembles that do not meet minimum enrollment 24 hours before the first meeting may be canceled. In the event a class is canceled, you will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another class. If you do not enroll in another class you will receive a full refund.

Non-Discriminatory Policy
The Center for Irish Music admits students of any race, color, sexual preference, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual preference, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid policies and other school-administrated programs.
