The Young Irish Musicians weekend boasts an astounding line-up of internationally renowned Irish musicians who will be travelling to to Saint Paul, Minnesota to give workshops and lectures in pure-drop Irish traditional music at the Center for Irish Music.

- Martin Hayes - fiddle
- Kevin Crawford (of Lunasa) - flute, whistle & bodhrán
- Dáithí Sproule (of Altan) - guitar and song
- Randal Bays - fiddle
Young Irish Musicians Weekend 2010 includes:
- 3 days of workshops from master artists for youth
- 3 day morning program for young beginning students (ages 7-12)
- 2 days of workshops from master artists and CIM staff for adults
- Saturday night concert featuring Martin Hayes, Kevin Crawford, Dáithí Sproule and Randal Bays
- Lecture on the Traditional Irish Music Archives in Dublin by Danny Diamond
- Friday Night Ceili by the Twin Cities Ceili Band, called by Mike Whelan
This activity funded, in part, by the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, and by funds provided by the Irish Fair of Minnesota Legacy Fund and private donations.
