In conjunction with the
Young Irish Musicians Weekend
Welcome to our music education program for Adult-Students (over age 25) in conjunction with the Young Irish Musicians Weekend! Intermediate and advanced students of all instruments and genres are invited to attend courses with phenomenal Master Artists including Liz Carroll (fiddle), Tara Bingham-Diamond (flute & whistles), Dermot Diamond (fiddle), Tommy Martin (uilleann pipes, flute & whistles), and Daithi Sproule (guitar, song and Irish language). We will accommodate students on any traditional instrument, from any genre.
Why leave the state or country for excellent musical instruction when you can get it right here at home?!!
All events will take place June 20-22, 2008 at McNally Smith College of Music in Downtown St Paul. Intermediate and advanced students will have the unique opportunity of learning from the Master Artists on all instruments in special classes designed for teaching/discussing many aspects of traditional Irish style, technique and repertoire. Everyone gets a chance to learn from all our Master Artists. Sign up for one day or sign up for them all – the choice is yours!
