Recitals & Performances

CIM instructors and staff host recitals twice a year in December and May at the Celtic Junction.

We highly recommend that all private lessons students participate in the recitals! The recitals are a great way to set a musical goal and reach it with the support of the CIM community.

Center for Irish Music recitals are open to the public and are a wonderful way to hear the tunes and songs our fellow students have been working on throughout the year. Each recital and open mic will be livestreamed as a Zoom Webinar, so you can invite family and friends from all over the world to watch!

Friday, May 15, 7:00 pm - Adult Open Mic (in person) 

Saturday, May 16 - Youth Recitals 1 & 2 (in person)

• 2:00 pm - Corncrake Ensemble & all solos
  
• 3:30 pm - Swallowtail Ensemble, Introduction to Tin Whistle for Kids & all solos

Sunday, May 17 - Youth Recitals 3, 4 & 5 (in person)

• 12:30pm - Starling Ensemble, u15 céilí band & all solos
• 2:00pm - u18 grúpa ceoil, u18 céilí band, & all solos
• 3:30pm - u15 grúpa ceoil, & all solos
