Join us for a cozy, winter edition of Ceol agus Craic (pronounced ky-ohl agus crack), meaning “Music and Fun”!

Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of traditional Irish music, featuring hands-on workshops, an open session, and plenty of opportunities to learn, play, and connect. Whether you’re brand-new to Irish music or a current student eager to try something different, Ceol agus Craic offers something for everyone.

1:00pm-2:15pm: Workshop Period 1

  • Introduction to Irish Harp* for Absolute Beginners with Hannah Flowers
  • Introduction to Bodhrán* with Todd Menton - FULL
  • Introduction to Irish Fiddle for Violinists with Mary Vanorny

2:15pm-3:15pm: Session, Tea & Craic

  • All are welcome to play, or just hang out!
  • Join us for tea & biscuits

3:15pm-4:30pm: Workshop Period 2 |

  • Introduction to Irish Harp* for Absolute Beginners with Hannah Flowers
  • Introduction to Turlough O’Carolan for All Instruments with Chad McAnally
  • Introduction to Pub Songs with Todd Menton

*CIM will provide harps and bodhráns for the introductory workshops. Just show up! Bring other instruments so you can join in the session.

All workshops are open to participants ages 12 and up
