About the Program

We are thrilled to announce our first-ever Artist In Residence (AIR) program! This new initiative is designed to deepen our connection to the living tradition of Irish music. We are looking forward to welcoming back 2025 Minnesota Irish Music Weekend master artist Sorcha Costello as CIM’s first Artist In Residence this October.

Throughout Sorcha’s residency this fall, students, teachers, and the wider community will have unique opportunities to learn from her through workshops, classes, sessions, and performances—and to experience her extraordinary musicianship up close.
