Audition to join the Center for Irish Music's Advanced Youth Ensemble!
All students wishing to participate in the 2022/23 Advanced Youth Ensemble need to sign up for an ensemble placement audition. Students should be able to play any tune on CIM's Performance Set. A paper setlist/beginning notes may be used to help you, but no electronic devices. At the audition, we will note your preparedness as well as your skill at maintaining steady rhythm, in addition to Irish style in your playing. The audition is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your thoughts for the upcoming year.
