His work has been recognized with top awards in guitar, mandolin, and banjo at the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil, earning him multiple opportunities to compete at the prestigious Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (Ireland). Morien is honored to be the first recipient of the "James M. Curley Memorial Scholarship" which is awarded for exceptional talent, commitment, and persistence. Morien attended PiM Arts High School, where he studied instrumental music. He studied all kinds of genres like jazz, funk, and even heavy metal. He also studied songwriting, and is excited to share some of his work! Morien has a deep love for solo artists, and is very passionate about exploring that on guitar.
