Irish Music & Arts Summer Camps
Summer is a great time to explore a new extra-curricular activity or to spend more time learning about Irish music and arts.
The Center for Irish Music offers full day and half-day summer camps for children and youth. New and currently-enrolled students are welcome to any of these camps.
Tentative CIM Summer Camp 2026 dates & times are:
- July 6-10
- Introduction to Irish Harp, 9:30am-12:30pm (Flowers)
- Irish Fiddle for Violinists, 9:30am-12:30pm (Vanorny)
- July 13-17
- Irish Music & Arts Camp - full day, 9:00am-3:00pm (Vanorny, O'Shea, Rendell, Miller and more)
- July 27-31
- Irish Music & Arts Camp - half day, 9:00am-12:00pm (A. O'Shea)
- August 3-7
- Ensemble Summer Camp (for current ensemble members), 9:30am-1:30pm
- Irish Fiddle Boot Camp, 1:45pm-3:45pm (Vanorny)
Further details will be posted late next week, and registration will open January 27th at 10:00am!
Save the date for the 18th Annual Minnesota Irish Music Weekend (MIM) from June 11-14, 2026. MIM includes a 2-day Trad Immersion Camp (for 9-12 year olds) and a 3-day Advanced Teen Program. Registration for that will open around St. Patrick's Day.
